JPL Contracts

The Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) was Dynamic Systems’ first customer when we opened for business in 1991. Year after year, JPL continues to be our most valued and cherished customer. Through our well-equipped facility, dedicated staff, and our technological expertise in punchout and EDI, we provide full support of JPL’s various acquisition systems.

In 1997, Dynamic Systems was awarded the first UNIX Just-In-Time (JIT) contract that was effective for seven years. This contract was re-competed and awarded again to Dynamic Systems in July 2004 via contract number 1262724. The JIT supply system provides a cost-effective vehicle of procurement for Laboratory requirements of Sun UNIX hardware, Symantec software and Dataram memory. JPL has recently transitioned the JIT system to an eBusiness environment using Oracle Business Suite iProcurement.

In addition to the JIT contract, Dynamic Systems was awarded the Integrated, Managed Solution (IMS) contract number 1296986 in April 2007. This contract provides an integrated, managed solution for the Flight Project Sun computing environment in which users can subscribe to Sun hardware, software and support on a two or three year term. Although not currently available through iProcurement, this is the ultimate goal of JPL and Dynamic Systems. Please contact your Subcontract Manager or Dynamic Systems’ JPL Account Manager.
